We Fight
for Girls
Our Story
As a nonprofit organization, We Fight For Girls helps girls worldwide. In our US sector, we focus on girls in minority groups, orphans, the mentally ill, and those living in foster care, being discriminated against, and sexually assaulted and abused.
We promote girls to become leaders and participate in all activities through discussions, interactions, and inviting guest speakers to schools.
In our Africa sector, located in Zambia, and our Southeast Asia sector in Laos, we focus on the rights and health of girls. Establishing connections through social media and with charitable donations from people around the world, we provide legal assistance and material support, especially sanitary products, to girls living in poor conditions
Globally, an estimated 736 million women—almost one in three—have been subjected to physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence, non-partner sexual violence, or both at least once in their lives. This figure does not include sexual harassment.
Thousands of baby girls are abandoned each year
Some 70,000 adolescent girls die every year in low- and middle-income countries due to complications related to unsanitary conditions, pregnancy, and childbirth
